Job summary

Huws Gray Bow is recruiting a Yard Supervisor to lead a small team, maintain stock integrity and ensure timely deliveries. You will play a key role in keeping the yard safe, organised and efficient, coordinating with Yard Operatives and Drivers across our Bow branch.

The role emphasises teamwork, safety and strong service delivery, with opportunities for training and progression within the Huws Gray group. Flexible working options may be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Forklift Driving Licence advantageous.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee yard operations and coordinate with Yard Operatives and Drivers.
• Manage stock levels and report faults or damages to the Branch Manager.
• Support deliveries by loading and unloading to keep scheduling on track.
• Handle goods in and out with accurate documentation on our systems.
• Contribute to a safe, well-organised yard and high-quality customer service.

We’re now looking for a Yard Supervisor to join the team at our (Bow) branch. You’ll play a key role in keeping our yard running smoothly. You’ll lead a team, ensuring stock is maintained and deliveries go out efficiently—all while creating a safe and well‑organised environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing yard operations - working closely with our Yard Operatives and Drivers
• Managing stock levels - identifying any faulty or damaged goods, and reporting issues to the Branch Manager
• Supporting deliveries - handling loading and unloading to keep things moving
• Handling goods in and out - ensuring all documentation is completed accurately on our systems
• Working as part of a team - keeping our branch running efficiently and delivering excellent customer service
