Job summary

Huws Gray Limited is seeking a Distribution Operations Supervisor to oversee the Sudbury branch, lead a proactive team, and deliver outstanding service to customers. You’ll collaborate with Branch Management to drive performance, coordinate loading/unloading, and ensure stock control and a safe working environment across daily operations.

You will identify efficiency improvements, support a positive culture, and help maintain high standards of service and safety in a busy distribution setting.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll oversee the smooth operation of the branch while helping to deliver exceptional service to our customers., Supporting the day-to-day operational management of the branch
• Working closely with Branch Management to ensure effective branch performance
• Leading, motivating and supporting the team
• Providing outstanding customer service in every interaction
• Coordinating the loading and unloading of vehicles
• Supporting an efficient and effective delivery schedule
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control processes
• Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge
• Promoting and maintaining a safe, secure and organised working environment
• Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and customer experience
• Sharing ideas and feedback with the management team to drive continuous improvement
