Vacancy Details

This is a full-time, flexible working, permanent position that will close in 19 days at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

We have an opportunity for a Disrepair Supervisor to join our Wates team within the Responsive Maintenance division. You will be based at our Brixton office, working on one of our social housing contracts, delivering reactive and some planned maintenance to residents.

Key Accountabilities

1. Ensure high-quality service by managing work scheduling according to company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
2. Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager.
3. Manage the responsive repairs function to meet performance targets.
4. Effectively manage material costs and ensure adherence to correct processes and procedures.
5. Monitor work quality through inspections, reports, KPI analysis, and customer satisfaction surveys.
6. Lead and develop your team, determining optimal employment levels to provide the service.

Requirements

You must have a full UK driving licence. The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, multitasking, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Prior responsive maintenance experience is essential, and you must hold an SSSTS qualification at minimum.
