Job summary

Superdrug is recruiting in Stamford for roles in our pharmacy team. We welcome both qualified Dispensers and those starting out as Trainee Pharmacy Assistants, offering full training and development.

This 39-hour-per-week role includes a Saturday rotation and benefits such as holiday allowance, discounts, and health and wellbeing programs. No prior pharmacy experience is required, just enthusiasm for healthcare and customer service.

Responsibilities

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.
Location: Stamford
Hours: 39 hours per week over 5 days, including 1 in 3 Saturdays.
Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
