Job summary

Superdrug is hiring for a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or Dispenser role at our Northampton HUB. The position is 18 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays, in a non-customer facing online pharmacy setting.

Compensation includes £15.15 per hour for Dispensers or up to £13.95 per hour for Trainee Pharmacy Assistants. No prior experience required—passion for healthcare and customer service is welcomed and development is supported.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent).
• No prior experience required — passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service across the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Location: Northampton HUB (Online Pharmacy - Non customer facing role)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment


• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary

We're Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
