Job summary

Superdrug in Stamford is recruiting for a role within its pharmacy team. The position involves supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment, delivering service across both the counter and the dispensary, and ensuring customers are served with care and professionalism.

The role welcomes both qualified Dispensers and those starting as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. Hours are 39 per week over 5 days, including 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent, or eagerness to start as a trainee.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Stamford

Hours: 39 hours per week over 5 days, including 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

We’re Looking For

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
