Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dispatch Supervisor for our client in Ryton. The role involves supporting the dispatch operation, coordinating deliveries and communicating with drivers and customers.

The position requires reliable, punctual staff with strong admin and computer skills and the ability to work under pressure. Offering a pay rate of £14.00-£15.68 per hour, the job involves shifts (14:00-22:30, 19:00-03:30, 21:30-06:00, 22:00-06:30) Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Be reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Have good computer and administrative skills.
• Confident in handling telephone calls.
• Comfortable dealing with customers and drivers face-to-face.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Ideally have previous experience within a transport, logistics or dispatch environment.
• Be able to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the dispatch operation.
• Communicate with drivers and customers, handle telephone enquiries.
• Assist with the coordination of deliveries and collections.
