Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dispatch Clerk to join the Ryton team. You will support daily dispatch operations, liaise with drivers and customers, and help coordinate deliveries and collections.

The successful candidate will be reliable, with solid administrative and computer skills, good telephone manner, and the ability to stay calm in a busy transport environment. Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:30am–7:00pm, salary £13.29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/logistics/dispatch preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and telephone handling experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day dispatch operations.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers and customers.
• Answer telephone enquiries and handle driver/customer communications.
