• Receive freight from clients.

• Respond to emails from clients.
• Prepare freight paperwork and manifests for transport.

McHaffie Transport Australia is expanding and we are looking for a Dispatch & Receivals clerk to join our Welshpool depot to grow with us.

About the role...

This entry - intermediate level role in transport/ freight receivals is a great way to start your career in freight management. It is ideal for someone looking for a hands on office role whilst having the freedom to get out of the office and be actively learning the ins and outs of general freight transport.

Responsibilities

• Receiving in freight from our clients
• Booking in freight collections
• Unloading/ loading freight using a forklift
• Responding to emails from clients
• Ensuring freight paperwork and manifests are ready for goods being transported to our Northwest depot
• Using Microsoft Copilot apps for day to day duties
