North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for the Acute Medical Unit at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. The role supports medical patients across diverse conditions and works as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The post requires a caring, patient-focused approach with a care certificate (or progress towards it). The 12-hour shift pattern covers weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and nights. Permanent, part-time position in a busy NHS setting.

We are seeking to recruit a clinical support worker at the acute medical unit, Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle. We are a dedicated, diverse, multidisciplinary team providing, providing emergency care to patients. We provide care to medical patients including respiratory, gastro, elderly care, cardiac, renal, haematology, dementia and frailty. We are a busy, ever changing unit, working closely with accident and emergency to provide safe and quality care, supporting a positive journey for patients.
You must have a caring nature, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Essential criteria required for role is to have a care certificate (working towards) will be accepted. The shift pattern is 12 hours daily, working weekdays, bank holidays, weekends and night shifts.
