Job Description

We don’t just help people keep their independence; we also give them peace of mind. We want all our residents to live their lives to the full, and our Disabled Facilities Grant Case Workers play a vital role in that mission. They assist people with disabilities, older adults, and those undergoing rehabilitation to live as independently as possible and manage their daily lives.

We are proud of our community, the care we provide, the services we offer, and the spaces we create. We continually strive to improve by providing our staff with the necessary time, support, and resources to excel in their roles and influence our broader approach. You will manage a manageable caseload and have a voice—if you see areas for change, we want to hear from you. This role offers ownership and the chance to make a positive impact on lives.

There is always room for new ideas here. We emphasize ownership, learning, development, and progression. • Assist in understanding customer needs and facilitate a quick, simple, and responsive customer journey, contributing to continuous service improvements and high satisfaction levels.
  • Provide a full range of customer-focused services that are flexible, sensitive, and responsive, supporting clients' dignity and independence.
Benefits

  • Opportunities for flexible and agile working, including a hybrid model.
  • Generous annual leave starting at 28 days, increasing after 3 years to 33 days, plus additional leave purchase options.
  • Regular development opportunities through training courses.
  • Convenient office location near transport links and the town centre.
  • Internal sports and social clubs.
  • Extensive employee assistance programs supporting health and wellbeing.
  • Discounted leisure and gym memberships.
  • Local government pension scheme and life insurance.
