Justice Case Worker

The Growth Company's Justice Services is seeking Justice Case Workers to support rehabilitation and Employment Training and Education within the Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution Programme.

CFO Evolution offers tailored support for offenders, particularly those facing barriers to community reintegration, who are disadvantaged or struggle to engage with mainstream services, and who lack essential life and functional skills needed by employers.

This voluntary program includes through-the-gate elements to provide comprehensive support beyond existing initiatives.

As a dual-trained Justice Case Worker and Activity Facilitator, you will offer advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support through regular 1:1 meetings and group sessions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify learning needs and develop action plans.
2. Build supportive relationships with participants.
3. Record activities and progress on the CRM system.
4. Support participants in implementing future actions.
5. Facilitate group learning to enhance communication, social interaction, and employability skills.

About You

1. Experience working with offenders or marginalized groups.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
3. Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
4. High-level guidance skills for individual and group sessions (at least Grade 2 standard).
5. Warm, empathetic, and capable of building rapport with participants.

Skills Required

1. Information, Advice and Guidance, and/or teaching qualifications (desired).
2. Experience supporting individual progression.
3. Understanding of offender rehabilitation and desistance theories.
4. Knowledge of National Probation Services or HM Prison environments and local/national training, education, and employment opportunities.
