Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Disability Assessor in Weymouth for a hybrid, Mon-Fri 9-5 role with full-time hours and part-time options available. Initial 12 weeks of paid, structured training covers assessment skills and DWP guidelines.

The position includes a salary around £42,000, with incremental raises and performance-based bonuses. The role involves assessing claimants, reviewing medical evidence, and compiling reports for the DWP, using clinical expertise to ensure quality over speed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, OT or Physio with post-registration experience.
• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication; IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Assess claimants' work capability and functional ability via phone and face-to-face appointments.
• Use clinical reasoning skills.
• Review medical evidence and compile detailed reports for the DWP.
• Apply clinical expertise with emphasis on quality over speed.

Location: Weymouth
Salary: £42,000-(rising by £1,000 at 12 months - Performance based)

Full Time - Hybrid - Mon-Fri, 9-5
Part time options -3 or 4 days

Your Role:

• Assessing claimants work capability and functional ability via phone and face-to-face appointments doing work capability assessments.
• Use your critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
• Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
• Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed

Essential Criteria:

• RegisteredNurse, OT or Physio
• Minimum1-year post-registration experiencein an adult setting
• NMC/HCPC registered
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
• Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate
• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Experience working with complex health conditions
