Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is hiring a Disability Assessor for a hybrid, full-time role based in Southampton. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with part-time 3/4 days available.

You will conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments, exploring how health conditions affect daily activities and work, and review medical evidence. The position includes a 12-week training programme, salary £40,000–£42,000 with potential £1,000 increases at 6/12 months, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Post-registration experience in an adult setting (at least 1 year).
• Active NMC, HCPC or GPHC registration for at least 1 year.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Excellent report writing and typing skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

Responsibilities

What you need:

• At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting
• At least 1 year of active NMC, HCPC or GPHC registration
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills
• Good IT skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your own caseloadPIP assessments - 3 a day WCA assessments -5/6 a day

What will you be doing? As a Disability Assessor, you will:
