Job summary

PayPal is seeking a seasoned leader to influence and shape the UK Small and Medium Business strategy. You will drive the commercial plan, set KPIs for acquisition, engagement and retention, and own revenue and margin targets.

Collaborating with marketing, product, sales and service teams, you’ll steer strategic priorities and performance reviews. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop business cases, size opportunities, and present strategic recommendations to senior executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience at the forefront of the B2B sector (ideally in payments).
• Experience in leading and influencing large cross-functional teams to a clear outcome.
• Experience in business case development, market sizing and strategic recommendations for senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the Small and Medium Business commercial plan to achieve KPIs across acquisition, engagement and retention and revenue targets for the market.
• Develop and execute global and local commercial priorities in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Be accountable to Revenue and TM targets and participate in market reviews and global forums.
• Understand the UK SMB end-to-end across multiple domains and provide market-backed insights to shape product and services.
• Represent PayPal externally at industry events and in the broader UK SMB ecosystem.
