Job Description

As the Director of Sales, you will oversee the performance of the New Business Development Team to ensure sales targets align with the company's business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Set, co-create, and achieve sales budgets and targets for the team and individuals.
  • Plan strategically to meet company objectives, analyze performance data, and forecast future performance.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure successful onboarding of new clients.
  • Research and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade bodies and potential partners.
  • Identify prospect needs and craft strategic sales plans and campaigns to expand our customer base.
  • Forecast sales quotas and project sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Manage and motivate the sales team, monitor progress, and ensure quotas are exceeded.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the sales team, evaluating performance regularly.
  • Generate leads, nurture client relationships, and understand client needs through meetings.
  • Lead sales processes with SME prospects and deliver personal sales targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the hire industry and our solutions.
  • Provide product demonstrations and adopt a consultative sales approach.
  • Coordinate with the Telemarketing Team to improve lead generation.
  • Manage internal systems like Hubspot and contract management tools.
  • Assist with opportunities and requests in our overseas offices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly reports to stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Proven experience managing new business sales teams.
  • Ability to create and implement effective sales plans.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
  • Experience in software solution sales with technical understanding.
  • Track record of achieving sales goals and building relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and with a valid UK driving license.
