Job summary
Emerging Futures seeks a Head of Operations to lead our community services, drug and alcohol recovery support, and housing across the Midlands and South. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for performance, quality, safety and financial sustainability of services, with oversight of Area Service Managers and strong relationships with commissioners and local stakeholders.
You will drive service improvement, ensure contracts are met, and contribute to organisational development as part of
Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading drug and alcohol services.
- Senior level leadership with service development and partnerships.
- Understanding of treatment, harm reduction and recovery-oriented practice.
- Experience across Midlands & South region preferred.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk and housing compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Area Service Managers and teams.
- Drive operational performance and meet contractual expectations.
- Oversee budgets and lead recovery plans.
- Provide leadership on quality, safeguarding, risk and housing compliance.
- Strengthen relationships with commissioners and partners.
- Support contract growth.
- Contribute to Senior Management Team.
