We are seeking a visionary Director of Operations to lead and inspire our operational teams, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of exemplary person-centred care alongside achieving key financial, people, and quality indicators.

The ideal candidate will:

1. Be a natural leader who builds and maintains an inclusive culture aligned with Sanctuary’s Corporate Values.
2. Represent Sanctuary at local, regional, and national levels, influencing sector needs and ensuring future sustainability.
3. Possess a passion for business transformation, actively researching and implementing initiatives to drive revenue and improve operating margins while maintaining quality services.
4. Collaborate with support and operational teams to develop strategies and services that reflect industry standards and best practices.
5. Be registered as the Nominated Individual with CQC in England and CI in Scotland, monitoring quality standards and managing risks effectively.

The essential requirements for this role are:

• Degree level education or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
• Proven senior leadership experience.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans.
• Strong understanding of finance and performance metrics, with high business acumen.
• Track record of achieving growth targets in a competitive environment.
• Extensive experience in health and social care.
• Thorough knowledge of UK regulatory requirements (CQC and CI) and experience working with regulators.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate others.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel across the UK as needed.
