Job summary

EDF Energy's Nuclear Services invites you to lead the Nuclear Security function across sites and projects, providing direction, oversight and assurance for critical UK energy programmes.

Based at Gloucester Business Park, the role requires being in the office a minimum of 2 days per week with weekly site visits. You will shape strategy, governance and regulatory compliance while engaging regulators and government bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security in a highly regulated environment.
• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders at executive level.
• Knowledge of DV clearance requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nuclear Security across Nuclear Services, cyber and physical security teams.
• Deliver on strategic priorities and ensure licence and regulatory compliance.
• Provide security oversight and assurance across operations and projects.
• Build relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with delivery functions to maintain standards and best practice.
• Lead and develop teams with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support business strategy and budget responsibilities.
