Job summary

EDF Energy is recruiting a Head of Nuclear Security to lead the security function across our Nuclear Services portfolio. Based at Gloucester Business Park with minimum 2 days in the office, you will steer strategy, governance and assurance for a highly regulated energy business.

You will manage a diverse team, engage with regulators and executives, and shape security policy for both existing fleet and new build projects, including agile delivery and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security at executive level in a highly regulated industry.
• Proven delivery in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with regulators, government bodies and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nuclear Security team and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Deliver strategic priorities aligned with site licence requirements and regulations.
• Provide security oversight across Nuclear Services operations and projects.
• Build relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders to ensure governance.
• Collaborate with security teams across the nuclear fleet and new-build programmes.
