Role Overview

A senior HR M&A Director who pioneers end‑to‑end HR integration projects, drives HR strategy and transformation initiatives, and supports our consulting teams throughout deal lifecycles across the UK and EMEIA region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage HR M&A projects from due diligence through day‑one preparation to carve‑out and post‑merger integration.
  • Lead HR strategy and transformation projects, including people‑driven transformations using EY global tools and enablers.
  • Support HR M&A consultants and manage project teams.
  • Drive business development, negotiate with clients, and support the go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Exercise internal and external business development acumen.
  • Apply creativity, innovation, and problem‑solving skills to complex projects.
  • Organise work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Strong HR‑related or HR consulting experience (HR strategy, HR M&A or similar).
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a consulting attitude; proven client‑facing experience in a professional services setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create effective presentations in PowerPoint and perform advanced Excel analysis and modelling.
  • Ability to analyse data and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
  • A degree in a business or finance‑related subject.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience managing complex business projects.

  • Experience in people‑driven transformations and familiarity with EY global enablers and tools.
