Job summary

Bath College seeks a personable Digital Support & Learning Resources Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of the Digital Support & Learning Resources team, delivering library and first-line IT support across the college. The role also administers finance systems supporting procurement of business and educational products.

This is an excellent progression for an experienced librarian or helpdesk technician; training will be provided to cover the breadth of the role, and prior experience

Qualifications

• Experience as a librarian or helpdesk technician
• Training will be provided to cover breadth of the role
• Experience across libraries and IT not essential

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Digital Support & Learning Resources Services
• Create appropriate schedules to deploy staff across all sites during advertised times
• Monitor the Service Desk system and escalate when deadlines are at risk
• Act as escalation point for first-line staff, guiding next steps and directing incidents
• Collaborate with curriculum managers and tutors to identify resources to support teaching and learning
• Communicate service changes and planned maintenance to customers
• Coordinate asset checks to ensure accurate asset location and investigate exceptions
• Ensure services adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and security policies
