WSP are seeking a Digital Engineer to join the Roads team based in our London, Cambridge, Basingstoke, Guildford or Southampton offices. We are open to applications from engineers at varying career stages, with the role shaped around capability and experience.

You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams to improve road networks and deliver a broad range of infrastructure projects, using digital tools and scripting to enhance design delivery and data-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Understanding of highway engineering principles preferred.
• Knowledge of design standards such as Design Manual for Roads & Bridges, Manual for Streets, TSRGD.
• Experience handling data with MS Excel or similar.
• Good communication with clients, developers, consultants and the public.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Deliver highway and infrastructure design solutions within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Produce outputs for projects of varying scale and stage.
• Apply digital automation, data-driven design and computational tools to improve delivery.
• Improve design efficiency, coordination, and carbon performance with digital tools.
• Develop reusable digital tools, templates and documentation for project delivery.
• Support BIM and CDE environments aligned with ISO 19650.
