Job summary

Opportunities exist for a skilled Digital Printer to join a leading packaging and labels company in the Leicester area. You will operate and maintain digital printing presses, ensuring color accuracy and high-quality output across jobs.

Key duties include managing workflow to meet tight deadlines, following established procedures, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring health and safety guidelines are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in busy digital print production.
• Experience in digital print - ideally HP or InkJet.
• Experience in labels/print/packaging industry.
• Strong eye for colour and detail; flexible.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good computer literacy.

Digital Printer - Packaging & Labels

Location: Leicester

Company: A leading packaging and labels company.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled digital printer to work for a company with many years in house experience, offering high quality packaging and labels solutions, and a company who heavily invests in the latest equipment.

Role:

• Operate and maintain digital printing presses (HP Digital or Screen Ink Jet)
• Ensure accurate colour reproduction and high-quality output across all jobs
• Manage workflow effectively to meet tight production deadlines
• Follow established procedures and processes independently
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot press issues as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production operations
• Complete all necessary quality controls checks
• Adhere to all production procedures
• Keep to the required health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy digital print production environment
• Experience within digital print - ideally running a HP or InkJet
• Experience within the labels/ print/ packaging industry
• Strong eye for colour and detail, with a flexible approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent job management and organisational skills
• Good standard of education and competent computer literacy
• Able to follow procedures and processes independently
