Job summary

Talent RockIt Ltd is seeking an Industrial Digital Printer to join our manufacturing team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be trained to operate a high-speed digital press and produce high-quality printed materials safely, with an emphasis on efficiency.

Starting rate is £16.81 per hour (£35,179.14 p.a.), rising to £19.82 per hour (£41,225.60 p.a.) after training, with a continental shift pattern and 7 days operation. Training over six months and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous digital print experience is not required as full training will be provided.
• Ability to handle equipment and operate machinery.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Industrial Digital Printer (Fulltime, Permanent) - Full training provided

Starting Rate £16.81 per hour, £35,179.14 pa

Fully Trained Rate £19.82 per hour, £41,225.60 pa

(Average 40 hours per week) plus overtime

Continental Shift Pattern (6 am to 6 pm / 6 pm to 6 am) based on 24/7 hour operation (inc. Sundays)

Location - Wiltshire/Hampshire

We're working with a large pan-European manufacturing business which operates 7 days a week that is actively seeking a Digital Printer to join one of its site Manufacturing teams.

You will be trained to be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a high speed Digital Printing Press to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and safely.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Operate High Speed digital press
• Follow Work Instruction tickets - either paper or digital
• Ensure maximum output, to the highest quality achievable
• Minimise both time and waste and downtime of the press and utilising the Make Ready process
• Adhere to best practice operating procedures to achieve KPI targets
• Follow Site planned maintenance programmes
• Work to documented ISO9001 and ISO14001 procedures
• Ensure good house keeping of machine and work area
• Be flexible in working on a Continental shift pattern
• Follow all Health and Safety and Safe Systems of Work practices

Your Skills and Experience:

• Previous digital print experience is preferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided over the course of your first 6 months.
• Experienced in the use of mechanical handling of equipment
• Able to work a Continental Shift pattern (12 hour shifts, days and nights)
• Basic IT skills with some competency
• Attention to detail with accuracy
• Practical and logical - able to solve problems quickly.
• Capable to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Adaptable to changing demands and circumstances
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills
• Flexible, reliable and trustworthy
