Job Title: Digital Print Operator / Trainee
Job Type: Permanent/ Full time: 39.5 hours.
Location: Site based. Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7
Salary: Trainee level: £12.80 p/h, rising to £13.15 p/h upon successful completion of 3-month probation.
Digital Printer Operator level: £13 p/h, rising to £13.30 p/h upon successful completion of 3-month probation.
The company is open to this position either being a trainee position or experienced position dependant on the candidate, so whilst no digital print experience is necessary, we would encourage both trainees and experienced digital print operators to apply as wed be keen to speak to you.
Annual holiday entitlement is 30 days including bank holidays (additional in line with long servicescheme). An annual factory shutdown at Christmas accounts for 3-4 days of annual holiday entitlement.

As a Digital Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.

The Digital Print Operator should be capable of adapting to changes in technology, processes, and be open to innovation and continuous improvement in printing processes and techniques. They should have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to a team environment and have the ability to handle the pressures and demands of a fast-paced production environment.
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is highly preferred but not essential, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are of key importance
Need to be competent on computers. The role includes using Mac and Windows based computers, candidates must be comfortable with their IT skills.
Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work
Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
Initiative, with problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively across departments and with management.
Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
Demonstrable desire to learn printing, especially if no previous experience in this field.
