Job summary

Printed.com is seeking a Digital Print Operative to join a fast-paced production team. You will be responsible for day-to-day running and maintenance of print presses to ensure high-quality output and efficiency.

Role involves rotating shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) with a starting salary of £25,000. The team values enthusiasm, detail-oriented work, and dedication to customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar digital print operative role is preferred but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain digital printing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
• Receive and review print job orders, understanding specifications and requirements.
• Monitor print runs to identify and address issues, ensuring smooth production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure longevity and prevent downtime.
• Manage and organize print materials, including loading and unloading paper and supplies.
• Conduct quality checks on printed materials to meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a secure and efficient working environment.

As a digital press operative, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end digital printing process. You will be responsible for the day to day running and maintaining of the print presses, ensuring quality and maximum output is achieved.

2-week rotational shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am).

Starting salary - £25,000

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Digital Print Operative or in a similar role within the printing industry preferred but not essential
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed
• Good physical condition and ability to lift 20kg
