Description

The Digital Marketing Consultant is a customer-facing role that operates in a digital-first, fully home-based capacity. These consultants are experts in acquiring clients by demonstrating and promoting LOCALiQ's comprehensive suite of digital marketing services. The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting fact-finding discovery calls, leveraging referrals provided by the Newsquest publishing network and the lead generation team, and generating sales through qualified leads. In addition to working with the provided leads, you will also have the autonomy to generate your own sales pipeline.

Please note that while this is a remote role, you must be based in the UK and hold the appropriate right to work status for full-time permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation & Sales

  • Identify and engage pre-qualified clients, understanding their business needs and digital marketing goals.
  • Conduct online demonstrations to showcase the value of SEO, PPC, social media, and online marketing solutions.
  • Secure new business through consultative sales, negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Account Management & Client Retention

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Monitor campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise results.
  • Address client concerns proactively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Performance & Targets

  • Work within a target-driven sales environment, consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and client engagement to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service offerings and improve overall client experience.

Digital Marketing Expertise & Strategy

  • Advise clients on digital marketing best practices, tailoring solutions to align with their objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations.
  • Ensure all marketing strategies comply with any relevant certifications.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

To excel as a Digital Marketing Consultant, you should possess a proven track record in digital marketing solutions. Your expertise should span various areas, including SEO, PPC, social media, and online services. You should be skilled at explaining the value of these products to clients through online face-to-face demonstrations.

Completion of Google Fundamentals training is also expected. As a client-centric role, you will be responsible for securing new business deals and nurturing existing client relationships. You should be confident in a target-driven sales environment and prioritise client satisfaction.
