Job summary

Nelson and Colne College in Nelson, England is seeking a Part-time Hourly Paid Lecturer - Digital to inspire and deliver high-quality IT teaching across Digital courses. You will design content, assessments and learning materials, and work with staff to keep the curriculum current with industry trends.

You will deliver hands-on, practical sessions, engage learners of varying abilities, and collaborate with local employers to enhance the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field required or strong equivalent
• Experience teaching IT/CS to diverse levels is essential
• PGCE or willingness to work towards one is required

Responsibilities

• Teach on a variety of digital programs and courses
• Develop and update course content, assessments and learning materials
• Engage with employers to inform curriculum and industry relevance
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment
• Deliver hands-on, engaging lessons using ICT tools
