Job summary

Kirklees College is inviting applications for a Part-time Hourly Paid Lecturer in Digital Design and Computing at Waterfront. The role focuses on teaching, learning and assessment across Level 1–3 Digital and IT courses, with engagement in lectures and practical sessions.

Ideally you will hold a level 3+ qualification in a relevant industry, plus at least a Level 2 literacy and numeracy, and relevant sector experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*- C).
• Relevant industry experience in Digital and related industries.
• Ideally a Level 3+ relevant industry qualification (or evidence of equivalent ability).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate hands-on practical sessions and provide guidance to students.
• Teach predominantly on Level 1, 2 and 3 Digital Design and Computing programmes.
• Prepare and assess learning activities focusing on Teaching, Learning and Assessment.
• Communicate effectively and uphold college values in interactions with students and staff.
