Job summary

Nelson and Colne College invites applications for an experienced Part-time Hourly Paid Lecturer - Digital. You will deliver high-quality teaching of digital courses, design content, assessments and learning materials, and contribute to curriculum development across the Digital offer.

The role suits a practitioner with expertise in programming (Python, C++, JavaScript) and Cyber Security, with a PGCE or willingness to work towards one.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification.
• Recent industry experience desirable.
• PGCE qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Knowledge of and proven ability to deliver the curriculum successfully.
• Display initiative, be positive and enthusiastic.
• Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity, customer service and quality assurance.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Be a team player.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous review and improvement.
• Ability to develop and promote relevant curriculum effectively.
