Job summary

onlyFE is seeking a part-time hourly paid lecturer to teach on BTEC Levels 2 and 3 and L1-L2 IT Users, with focus on computing and IT areas such as programming, networking and AI. The role requires delivering high-quality teaching, ensuring strong attendance and achievement across courses.

You should hold a Level 4 Computing qualification (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification or be willing to work toward one within two years.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 4 qualification in Computing or equivalent industry experience.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards within 2 years (self-funding).
• Experience managing a year group or curriculum programme.
• Experience in programming languages, cyber security, data analysis, AI or networking.
• Experience teaching examinations and industry projects.

Responsibilities

• Teach on a range of courses including BTEC Levels 2 and 3 and L1-L2 IT Users.
• Foster a rich learning environment and maintain high attendance and achievement.
• Deliver sessions with emphasis on programming, networking, computing and IT.
