South Hampshire College Group in Fareham invites a proactive Learning Resources Advisor to join the Student Development & Engagement team. You will promote independent study, support digital learning and create an inclusive learning environment across college sites.

This full-time, term-time role (38 weeks per year) is based at Eastleigh College. You will deliver study-skills workshops, support VLEs and digital tools, manage resources and assist students and staff with IT systems.

Qualificações

• Level 2 English and Maths qualification required.
• Experience with a range of IT operating systems.
• Experience supporting learners or staff in educational, learning support, or digital learning environments.
• Knowledge of Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), digital learning tools, and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Good research skills and ability to source information from a variety of media.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support students with study skills, research techniques, assignment planning and academic development.
• Deliver engaging workshops on topics such as referencing, presentation skills, digital organisation, teamwork and academic integrity.
• Provide front-line support for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and a range of digital learning platforms.
• Promote and champion digital learning tools, e-learning resources, Microsoft 365, and emerging technologies including AI.
• Coordinate and support enrichment activities such as reading groups, games clubs and student engagement initiatives.
• Assist students and staff with IT systems, software, account access and password resets.
• Manage learning resources, equipment loans, reservations and study spaces within the Learning Resource Centre.
• Support curriculum teams in developing and promoting high-quality digital learning resources.
• Work collaboratively across multiple college sites to ensure a consistent and high-quality student experience.
