Job summary

South Hampshire College Group is seeking a proactive Learning Resources Advisor to join our Student Development & Engagement team at our Fareham Campus. This full-time, term-time position (38 weeks per year) supports students and staff in developing study skills, digital capabilities and confidence to succeed.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Level 2 English and Maths qualification.
• Experience supporting learners or staff in education or digital learning.
• Knowledge of VLEs, digital learning tools and Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support students with study skills, research techniques, and academic development.
• Deliver workshops on referencing, presentation, digital organisation and teamwork.
• Provide front-line support for the VLE and digital platforms.
• Promote digital learning tools and emerging technologies including AI.
• Coordinate enrichment activities and student engagement initiatives.
• Assist with IT systems access, accounts, and password resets.
• Manage learning resources, loans, reservations and study spaces.
• Support curriculum teams in developing digital resources.
• Collaborate across college sites to ensure a consistent student experience.
