Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine is seeking a Digital Construction Manager to lead BIM and information management on a major Oxford project delivering state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities. You will work with the project team, client, and subcontractors to drive digital construction strategies, line-manage staff, and ensure ISO19650 standards are implemented across the lifecycle from design to handover.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience implementing BIM within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, Viewpoint 4 Projects and COBie.
• Relevant BIM Qualifications/Courses.
• Knowledge of ISO19650.
• Excellent communicator and ability to manage challenging scenarios.
• Desirable skills in data analytics and reporting.
• Ambitious, dynamic and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Cover multiple Digital/BIM/Information Management tasks for the lifecycle of a construction project on site, including work winning, design phase, pre-construction, construction and handover.
• Lead and facilitate the integration of Digital Construction implementation, driving the SRM digital construction strategy and business culture.
• Work closely with the wider project team, client team and trade sub-contractors.
• Line managing, coaching and mentoring Digital construction staff and supporting personnel development.
