Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine is recruiting a Digital Construction Manager for a major project in Oxford, delivering state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities. You will drive BIM/Information Management across the project lifecycle, collaborating with client teams and sub-contractors to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and value.

The role requires hands-on BIM leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to development of digital strategies that align with the company’s Visions

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience implementing BIM within the construction industry.
• Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, Viewpoint 4 Projects and COBie.
• Knowledge of industry standards ISO19650.
• Excellent communicator and ability to manage challenging scenarios.
• Desirable skills in data analytics and reporting.
• A natural affinity for being ambitious, dynamic and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Cover multiple Digital/BIM/Information Management tasks for the lifecycle of a construction project on site, including work winning, design phase, pre-construction phase, construction phase, handover and soft landings.
• Work closely with the wider project team, client team and trade sub-contractors. Having regular contact with the Principal Digital Construction Manager and Director for Digital Construction.
• Lead and facilitate the integration of Digital Construction implementation, driving the SRM digital construction strategy and business culture in a manner which upholds the Visions and Values of the Company.
• Line managing, coaching and mentoring Digital construction staff and supporting personnel development.
