Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd. in London is seeking a Digital Construction Manager to drive BIM and information management across the lifecycle of two major healthcare and special projects.

You will work closely with the project team, client teams and subcontractors to implement digital construction strategies, mentor staff and ensure high standards of quality, safety and delivery. We are currently recruiting a Digital Construction Manager for our London office to work on two major projects within our Healthcare and Special Projects areas. Our Team improves predictability and construction project performance with smart, digital tools and services which enable faster project delivery with greater quality, consistency and efficiency.

The Digital Construction Manager Role:

The Main responsibilities of the Digital Construction Manager will be:

• To cover multiple Digital/BIM/Information Management tasks for the lifecycle of a construction project on site, including work winning, design phase, pre-construction phase, construction phase, handover and soft landings
• Work closely with the wider project team, client team and trade sub-contractors. Having regular contact with the Principal Digital Construction Manager and Director for Digital Construction
• Lead and facilitate the integration of Digital Construction implementation, driving the SRM digital construction strategy and business culture in a manner which upholds the Visions and Values of the Company
• Line managing, coaching and mentoring Digital construction staff and supporting personnel development.

Your Profile:

• Relevant BIM Qualifications/Courses
• 3 years minimum experience implementing BIM within the construction industry
• Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, Viewpoint 4 Projects and COBie
• Knowledge of industry standards ISO19650
• Excellent communicator and ability to manage challenging scenarios
• Desirable skills in data analytics and reporting
• A natural affinity for being ambitious, dynamic and a strong team player
