Department Overview:

The Digital Commerce team drives the online performance of Michael Kors across all EMEA sites, blending commercial strategy with hands-on site merchandising to grow sales and elevate the customer experience. Sitting within the MK Ecommerce division, the team partners closely with Buying, US Web Merchandising and Web Production to bring product to life online, and this role reports into the Manager, Digital Commerce (EMEA).

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maximise Conversion and Sales
  • Execute site merchandising plans, adjusting strategies based on in-depth analysis of KPIs including conversion rate and average order value.
  • Support execution of the e-commerce content calendar and trading strategy to ensure consistency and regional alignment across all digital storefronts.
  • Produce daily, weekly and ad-hoc performance reporting against site metrics and key KPIs, providing actionable insights to drive incremental conversion and sales. Complete post-event analysis for all key site activities.
Product and Site Merchandising Execution
  • Own and manage all product upload and go-live activity for the websites, coordinating cross-functionally to ensure products are online in time and in full.
  • Create seasonal line lists and trackers to monitor and manage the timely activation and lifecycle of all products across the EMEA sites.
  • Coordinate with US partners to ensure the timely online availability of EU-only merchandise, regularly communicating status and action plans for products ‘In Stock Not on Site’ to Buying and Senior Management.
  • Ensure all products are merchandised in the correct categories with accurate, rich attribution and commercial presentation, working with US counterparts to implement EU-specific requirements.
  • Oversee optimisation of on-site search and support the effectiveness of intelligent product recommendations (e.g. cross-sells, upsells).
  • Ensure the smooth, timely execution of seasonal refreshes and major sale launches, meeting all critical path deadlines.
  • Complete weekly website reviews and audits to maintain the highest standards of excellence, consistency and performance across all sites and channels.
Cross-Functional Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Buying teams to understand key strategic objectives and ensure merchandising strategies support them.
  • Foster an effective working relationship with the US Web Merchandising and EMEA Web Production teams, sharing best practice and jointly identifying conversion-driving opportunities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day work of Coordinators, providing support, guidance and training to develop their skill sets.
  • Support the Concession Coordinator as required, ensuring product loading and display on partner sites adheres to the established critical path.
You'll Need to Have:
  • Extensive experience in an ecommerce site merchandising role, ideally within an international retail environment.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area.
  • Advanced skills extracting and applying data from a web metrics tool (ideally Adobe Omniture).
  • Experience managing ecommerce toolsets such as SFCC, Content Square or Dynamic Yield.
  • Advanced PC skills across Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, highly organised, and confident managing multiple priorities to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
