Job summary

Axiom Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Generator Service Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot electrical generators across industrial, commercial, or utility sectors. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs to ensure reliable energy supply and compliance with safety standards.

You will join a team focused on reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement, with on‑call duties and occasional international project work at enhanced pay.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or A-Levels.
• CSCS or equivalent.
• 18th edition.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on standby generators up to 2.5 MW.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Complete site reports and documentation to a high standard.
• Liaise with customers to provide excellent service and support.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with installations and commissioning where required.
• Participate in an on‑call rota for emergency support and planned weekend work and out-of-hours support when required.
