Job summary

Dawsongroup Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Generator Engineer to service, maintain, diagnose and repair diesel generators and related hire equipment across a nationwide operation.

You will plan service visits, support the field service team, and provide technical advice while keeping precise records for contracts and parts usage. A driving licence is required and Electrical Engineering qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with diesel engines and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A full valid driving licence.
• Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and maintenance on diesel generators and related hire equipment.
• Plan and coordinate service, maintenance and repair visits.
• Support the development and capabilities of the field service team.
• Provide technical advice and assist with hire contracts preparation and operation.
• Keep accurate records of parts used, time spent and other administration.
