Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair diesel generators across customer sites and our rental fleet.

You will carry out planned servicing, diagnose faults, perform on-site repairs and attend breakdown calls, with regular site visits and a collaborative approach alongside the wider service team. Overtime opportunities apply.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing generator sets (diesel) with fault-finding skills.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and maintenance of diesel generators.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on customer and rental equipment.
• Attend customer sites to resolve breakdowns and technical issues.
• Carry out site surveys when required.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Complete work in line with company procedures and quality standards.
• Keep company vehicles, tools and work areas clean and well maintained.
