Perfect Placement UK Ltd are sourcing a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for a premium franchise dealership in Cheltenham. You will conduct complex diagnostic and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, including EV tasks if qualified, and support junior technicians in a fast-paced workshop.

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experienced in diagnostic work, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Trained to a Diagnostic Technician level, with exposure to complex diagnostic and servicing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex diagnostic, warranty, and repair work on a wide variety of vehicles.
• Perform EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs, adhering to manufacturer standards.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and software efficiently to identify and resolve difficult issues.
• Support and guide less experienced technicians within the workshop.
• Maintain high levels of quality and productivity in a busy franchise environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets and provide excellent customer service.

We are sourcing a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable nationwide automotive dealer group, for their premium franchise-approved dealership in Cheltenham. This Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role offers the opportunity to work within a professional environment, providing expert diagnostic and repair services on a diverse range of vehicles. The Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will play a key part in maintaining high standards of service, supporting ongoing team development, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Trained to a Diagnostic Technician level, with exposure to complex diagnostic and servicing tasks
• Ability to perform EV repairs (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and competently
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Committed, reliable, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure
• Good team player willing to share knowledge and support colleagues
