The role involves performing advanced diagnostics and electrical fault finding, plus maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles, while delivering high-quality customer service and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostics, electrics and mechanical repair expertise.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• MOT testing qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and electrical fault finding on a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct maintenance, servicing and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles (vans).
• Handle tasks such as timing belts, clutches, brakes, electrical diagnostics and general servicing.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and a seamless end-to-end experience for customers.
• Accurately completing vehicle health checks, job sheets and customer documentation.
• Work efficiently within set timescales to maximise productivity.

Duties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

• Performing advanced diagnostics and electrical fault finding on a variety of vehicles
• Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles (vans)
• Handling work such as timing belts, clutches, brakes, electrical diagnostics, and general vehicle servicing
• Ensuring high-quality customer service, providing a seamless end-to-end experience

• Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic at all times

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence is essential
