Job summary

A leading manufacturer-owned franchised dealership in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. The role offers a basic salary of £37,128 with the potential for on-target earnings of £45,000, along with various benefits including paid overtime and manufacturer training. Ideal candidates will possess Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and have diagnostic accreditation.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent required.
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence mandatory.
• Hybrid/EV Qualification and MOT Licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure servicing & repairs meet manufacturer standards.
• Conduct in-depth electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
• Provide technical expertise to the workshop team.

Our client, a Busy Manufacturer Owned Franchised Dealership in Chelmsford have the requirement for experienced Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team

Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician responsibilities will include:

Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Provide Technical Expertise to the workshop team
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Manufacturer Diagnostic Accreditation or equivalent
Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Hybrid/EV Qualification
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
