Job summary

KPI People Ltd in Leamington Spa is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician for a busy dealer with a Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm schedule. Basic salary up to £40,000 with OTE up to £52,000 and 30 days paid annual leave.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex faults, performing repairs to manufacturer standards, and conducting MOTs if qualified. Essential: Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance, Full UK driving licence, and own tools; EV accreditation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on vehicles to manufacturer and safety standards
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to resolve issues accurately
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting productivity and turnaround targets
• Carry out servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Cambelt, clutch, gearbox and engine repairs/replacements
• Electrical & mechanical diagnostics
• Warranty repairs
• New car PDI’s and used car multi-point checks
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)

• Full and Clean UK Driving Licence

• MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
