We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading multi-franchise car dealer group in the Southwest England region, for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in their busy Brislington dealership.
The Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional vehicle diagnostics and repairs while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

- Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience and franchise qualifications

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am-12:00pm
Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
- Perform advanced diagnostics using specialist equipment to identify faults efficiently
- Carry out repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Support and mentor the workshop team, sharing technical knowledge
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality assurance
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring vehicles leave the workshop in optimal condition
- Assist in maintaining workshop productivity and efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop environment
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Demonstrable experience as a Diagnostic or Master Technician, with a strong diagnostic background
- Valid UK driving license
- Good leadership qualities, team player, and motivated to meet targets
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy main dealership environment
- Strong technical knowledge and commitment to ongoing training
