Job summary

KPI People are recruiting a Diagnostic Technician for their busy Gatwick workshop. You will carry out servicing and repairs to Manufacturer Standards, including cambelt, clutch, gearbox and engine work, and perform in-depth electrical and mechanical diagnostics.

Essential qualifications include Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance, Manufacturer Diagnostic Accreditation, and a full UK driving licence. The role offers a 45-hour week with paid overtime and a base salary of £42,000 with OTE

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Manufacturer Diagnostic Accreditation or equivalent.
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards.
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements.
• In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.
• Provide Technical Expertise to the workshop team.
• Warranty Repairs.

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Gatwick have the requirement for experienced Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team

Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician responsibilities will include:

Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
In depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Provide Technical Expertise to the workshop team
Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Manufacturer Diagnostic Accreditation or equivalent
Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Hybrid/EV Qualification
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
