Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, install, repair and calibrate a range of laboratory diagnostics systems used in NHS labs and clinical environments. You will support flow cytometry and diagnostic products at customer sites, ensuring high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong electronics/tech background and excellent customer-facing skills, with opportunities to work across a variety of high‑value devices in dynamic healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or technical support within electronics or electro‑mechanical service.
• Background in high‑value electronics capital equipment, microscopy, cameras, lasers, x‑ray detection, or biomedical engineering.
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level or above in electronics or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of laboratory diagnostics systems at customer sites.
• Support flow cytometry, cell separation and diagnostics products at client locations.
