Sterling Pharma Solutions Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a skilled scientist to help translate laboratory processing into scalable operations suitable for plant assets. You will develop, optimise, and demonstrate processes for implementation on Sterling assets, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.

The role requires a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or equivalent experience, plus strong laboratory skills and IT proficiency to support cross-functional teams

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong laboratory chemistry knowledge and problem solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Aufgaben

• Comply with all EHS requirements including safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct EHS audits and internal safety/housekeeping audits.
• Work closely with Hazard Evaluation and EHS to ensure safe processes from lab to manufacturing scale.
• Raise CARE forms as appropriate.
• Carry out practical work accurately following defined work plans.
• Demonstrate understanding of the chemical processes under study.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and review colleagues' write-ups.
• Develop and optimise processes suitable for plant implementation.
• Process data and carry out preliminary evaluation.
• Approve Process Record Sheets and other plant documentation.
• Contribute to investigations and troubleshooting sessions.
• Provide support and technical advice for processes running on plant.
• Liaise with internal departments for project progression.
• Draft documentation for introducing processes to plant for review by project team.
• Prepare technical memos and customer reports.
