Qualifications

• Significant experience in organic, applied or process chemistry in an R&D environment.
• Proven success in process development and continuous improvement within chemical manufacturing.
• Experience transferring chemical processes from laboratory or pilot scale into manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise process routes for new products and manufacturing technologies.
• Design and evaluate laboratory studies to support future processes.
• Invent, develop and characterise the performance of speciality chemical and pesticide formulations.
• Support scale-up and prepare transfer/manufacturing documentation.
• Analyse technical data and support commissioning of new processes.
• Drive process improvement for efficiency, yield, sustainability and safety.
• Lead technical projects with cross-functional teams when required.
